In the modern era of online shopping, logistics delivery plays a crucial role in determining customer satisfaction. This study aims to compare the timeliness and accuracy of logistics delivery between drop shipping platforms and traditional e-commerce shopping platforms.
To conduct this research, we analyzed data from 1000 orders placed across various drop shipping and e-commerce platforms. The study focused on two key metrics: the time taken from order placement to delivery (timeliness) and the percentage of orders delivered without errors (accuracy).

Our findings indicate that e-commerce shopping platforms generally outperform drop shipping platforms in both timing and accuracy of deliveries. However, drop shipping platforms have the advantage of offering a wider range of products. This study suggests that e-commerce platforms could improve customer satisfaction by reducing delivery times and that drop shipping platforms should focus on enhancing their order accuracy.
By addressing the identified gaps, both types of platforms can enhance their logistics operations to better meet customer expectations in the competitive online marketplace.
